The Lowdown…Hits equally well as catcher or EH…tied for second in the record books of the 39 & Over team with 9 consecutive hits in 1995 (streak ended with a strikeout)...as catcher in 2000 winter game, pounced on bunted ball and threw to first base, except his throw went backwards…during drinking days at a Bloomingdale picnic, he claimed he dropped his glasses in the out house: no one offered to help…received commendation for rescuing people in a burning building: the hat that he credits for saving his own life only shows three small dots of tar on it...successfully developed style called “duking it” which on the professional horseshoe circuit means bouncing a shoe onto the stake…holds a lifetime achievement award for getting injured at Legends Volleyball…and got his nickname by patterning his life after and memorizing every movie line of John Wayne.

During a typical high level Chicago Police investigation, Duke is shown here lifting Mel Gibson’s wallet so as

not to allow it to fall into

the wrong hands.
